Worst Sporting Event experience ever!!
Such a disappointment this sporting event turned out to be! Dan and Shay were celebrating their new ownership with a promotional offer. They were offering half off remaining tickets and food and drinks throughout the game. I had already purchased my tickets before the promotion, which didn't bother me much as they were inexpensive to begin with. The discounted concession stands had the potential to make the game enjoyable, though.
Regrettably, Dan and Shay were not ready for the influx of customers due to the deal. The will call line outside the stadium was unacceptably long at 30 minutes. Upon finally entering, every concession line had a wait of over 20 minutes for the entire game. Despite trying, my group only managed to buy one beer in the 1st quarter and were unable to purchase anything else. We were hungry but couldn't find any food! My girlfriend attempted to buy food in the 2nd quarter, but by the time she reached the front of the line, everything was sold out except for soda. She returned empty-handed and missed the entire 2nd quarter.
By the 3rd quarter, we hoped to get another beer since food was out of the question. We waited in line, but when we reached the front, the 3rd quarter had just ended, and they refused to serve us any beer.
What a terrible experience! We won't be returning this year.
